Whats the easiest way to attach an awning to a campervan conversion.?
We have a renault trafic and we are doing a mini conversion on her, interior is easy, but i would like to know the best way to attach some kind of awning to the side of her.Can anyone help with this or post some info that will give me a general guide to this would eb much appreciated.Must be safe and secure as will be used alot.
There is a bird or birds that comes to sleep under my side porch awning every night. Anyone know what it is?
There is NO nest, just a bird or two birds, I can't tell that comes at night and tucks itself in the corner of the awning roof, at the low end. I can't see it's head because it is all curled up onto itself. I have a motion light that goes on and off, and we go in and out the door with the dog several times at night, and the bird never moves. In the morning, it is gone. Then the next night, it is back again. I don't mind it being there I'm just wondering if anyone knows that it is. We live in Pennsylvania, in case anyone needs to know that for types of birds. I have several bird feeders and a bird bath in the front and on the opposite side of the house. I do have quite a few birds living in bushes by the feeders and there is quite a bit of bird traffic everyday in my yard. It is not cold here at night, but it has been getting cooler at night maybe like 65 degrees at the lowest? added details sorry, I didn't even think to add a description of the bird. I just assumed you would all know It is NOT a pigeon, we do not have them where I live it is pretty subruban, almost rural . The bird is SMALL, and would probably fit in the palm of a hand. From what I can see, it is brown and or grayish with some lighter spots on the feathers. If I could see the head, I would know what it is, but its head is tucked around somewhere out of sight. I shine a flashlight on it to try and figure out what it is, but I still can't see its head. I took a PICTURE tonight. I don't think I can put in on here. Would you recommend an awning as a patio cover?
I'm looking at the " Sunset Retractable Awning" . Two other alternatives are i build a cover made from a wooden frame ii get a huge patio umbrella
Questions about Sun Room/3 Season rooms? Or retractable awnings?
1. Is there a difference between a sunroom and a 3 season room or are they the same thing?2. I'm thinking about adding a sunroom onto my already existing deck if possible. Any pros or cons that you know of?3. If you have a sunroom or 3 season room can you tell me how big it is and about how much it cost?4. How about retractable awnings are they worth it?My husband had a bout with skin cancer thankfully it was caught early but we're trying to be more aware of the sun and my whole backyard is sun...one of my concerns with a sunroom is it will block out the aftrenoon sun on the pool and I like the pool in the sun al day because I'm not a big fan of cold water.
